The Dennis Historical Society asked me to volunteer to take some pictures of the 2022 grand opening of the Josiah Dennis Manse Museum. It was a blast! I had so much fun, and the docents we excellent. I highly recommend anyone that is visiting or living on the Cape Cod to stop by the Museum. It is a wonderful piece of history!
Here are some details of the Museum:
Saltbox home of the first minister, and the man for whom the Town of Dennis is named. Artifacts of early town life, children's room, spinning and weaving exhibit, gardens and maritime wing. A one room schoolhouse is on the property. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
